Wix is a global website builder software platform for small businesses to operate online. Wix has some powerful tools like Wix Editor, Wix ADI, Corvid by Wix and an App Market, which enable users worldwide to build and manage a fully integrated and dynamic digital presence.
If you need something quick and you’re not a web guy WIX can be the starting point. Sometimes when you’re one guy but you’re starting a business, you don’t have a lot of time or money or technical know how. WordPress is much more search-friendly and usually requires a little more tech know-how than Wix. Wix is totally basic, and the people using it don’t usually understand digital marketing very well.

Wix Website Builder:

Wix offers an easy drag-and-drop website builder called wix website builder to create small static websites. There are hundreds of free templates available to make the website building process fast.

Wix SEO:

Wix is not and never should be used as an organic solution. It’s can be great for people who use conventional forms of marketing that are not related to SEM. SEOs mostly only use WordPress, and Wix is mostly only used by beginner dropshippers and retailers, so there’s that. After studing 6M domain Ahref showed that only 1-2% of wix site get organic visitors where at least 52% of WordPress website get organic visitors regularly.
I personally believe that WordPress is now & will ALWAYS be the Master of websites on the internet.

Wix caters to the kind of people that want to build something quickly and easily that allows them to effectively kickstart their business. Whether they stick to it in the long run due to reasons about owning the code or it’s (currently and relatively) limited functionality is another question.

Wix SEO Wiz:

Wix has been steadily improving in certain areas like increased plugin functionality, Wix SEO Wiz and other marketing integrations but with Wix code, they’re trying to bring coding logic, in drag and drop format to the masses – something I believe has value outside just the web development realm.

Wix vs Squarespace:

Recreating something with Squarespace is much more difficult because you are really restricted to their template designs, there is a fair amount of customization but the framework is less flexible. Wix will probably give you more control but there might still be some restrictions depending on what you’re trying to create.
